Multicam Vest
Hi all,
Right now, I'm looking to buy a multicam vest. Is there anybody who can guide me? I have a budget of 150$. Is there any suggestions? FYI, I run a VFC HK416. Thanks! |

Check out the link in my sig line.
I'm selling a US Army issue Multicam rig, it has 6 internal mag pouches and 2 pouches for a radio or GPS. Last edited by -Skeletor-; November 14th, 2011 at 11:32.. |

buy real, buy once
those two rigs you posted.. are costume, not gear.. and quickly get reduced to shapeless wads of ripped seams and unraveling fabric. save your money, and buy real gear

yep.. will hold 8 mags for you, a pistol and 4 mags and a pouch left over for snacks and a radio..
also internal pouch for maps.. really should be every new airsofter's first rig. It's still one of my go to rigs for greenside ops ...and I have lots of rigs to choose from.. like 8 or 10 different set ups.. but the simplicity and utility of the universal rig still wins many times.

Although not a vest this chest rig is on sale right now at CP gear and might meet your needs:
http://www.cpgear.com/StoreBox/disb/8070_0.htm The only thing you're missing is cover on the back to put pouches, but really all you need there space for a backpack or a water bladder so it's not much of a sacrifice. I picked one up one of these in multicam and am very happy with it. Keep in mind it doesn't come with pouches so you'll need some extra cash to pick some of those up too. CP Gear has various pouches on sale in their discount bin also available in multicam. Look around elsewhere too to see what other retailers you can find. Just like with vests (or chest-rigs) good quality pouches that don't fall apart are also a bit pricey. If you're on a budget for now you could always get a decent vest or chest rig and then pick up some pouches after another paycheck or two. As Brian says, don't waste your money on cheap crap. It'll just piss you off and end up either falling apart during a game, gathering dust in your closet, getting sold for less than half of the original worth if you're lucky or will get tossed into the trash. |

Look at the US Army issue TAP, it is legit Mil Spec Multi Cam built chest rig and currently in use with the US and it is well under that $250 mark and it has built in mag and radio/gps pouches and internal slots for maps and other small items. Same with some of the above rigs posted, legit gear designed/built for Mil/LEO and well under $250. Before you go out and buy a rig though, I highly recommend thinking about what you need to carry on you, and either find a rig that does that or get a plain MOLLE one and buy the pouches you need. Honestly you don't need much on a rig, ammo, comms, medical, water, nav(depending on job) are the must haves IMO as well as some small items that can be stashed in a map pocket or whatever.
