Heeeeeeeeelp! Can't choose!

So, here's my problem! I want to buy a CQB weapon, but a weapon that's specific for that application, i.e not a CQBR m4! So, as I looked for that gun, I found the 2 best weapon that I could find for me! The FN P90 or the H&K MP5!
Now, I just can't decide between the two guns, as I am a big bullpup fan for the P90 but I love the MP5's style and the fact that it can be modded to pretty much anything you want to make it! But the P90 has a inner barrel which is almost as long as a M4's, so that's good for accuracy!

So, here's my question, which gun is more suitable for CQB, the P90 or the MP5?

thanks!

This is mostly down to personal preference. If you haven't done so already, you should perhaps go to a game and hope someone has an mp5 and a p90 that you can try out and get a feel for them both.

MP5 .. 2 mags fit in an M4 magpouch... whereas P90 mags don't fit in anything

Yeah, smart idea, but the P90s are, well, kinda rare, but I'll try to find one!

MP5.

Trust me, its awesome in purified form.

In fact, MP5's are so awesome that you can wake up in the morning, and expect a FULL FUCKING BREAKFAST to be cooked and WAITING for you, conjured up into this very world by the sheer awesome that is the H and fucking K MP5.

We don't see P90's doing that for you now do we?

All in seriousness, though. MP5's are just a bit more freindly on the pocket in terms of magazine storage, availability and aftermarket/replacement parts (I baught a TM mp5a4 that was mangled to shit... and I was able to replace pretty much all of the missing parts, TM BRAND without much of a sweat.)

TM p90 + M4 mag converter ....

or if you don't like things thrown at you by P90 purists... and like having a cqb weapon nearly as exterior modable as an M4 ... mp5

*runs away from P90 purists throwning things*

Well..... The KAC PDW technically was designed to be a CQB weapon for mechanized infantry and suh to be able to fire out the gunports or used as a defensive weapon if attacked.

Otherwise I'd personally go with the MP5, even though I'd love to have a P90 the MP5 just seems more ergonomical in my hands. But then again I associate the P90 with SG1.....

PS: I'm told that UMP pouches will fit P90 mags just in case you decide to go P90 and can't find pouches.

The P-90 was my first AEG because I was a huge Stargate fan. Honestly, it's cool, and not a bad skirmishing machine, but there are a lot of P-90 specific pieces of gear you'd need to obtain that would be easier to get if it were an MP5.

Just pretend you're pre-season 4 SG-1.

Good idea (the pre-season thing!!!) and I know, if something breaks, I'm in the sh*t! Thanks! And it's always fun to find SG fans here and there!

The difference in barrel length means almost nothing, especially in CQB.
