it'd be interesting to make. the sheer thrust of the grenade getting fired may make it detonate though... "killing" the crew

Didn't he actually say there's no recoil mechanism in that one, as opposed to the small 2inch one presented in intro?

Considering the relative light weight and length of the (apparently) ABS Canon, the air pressure released by the tank would definitely be enough to shake it up like it does, giving impression there's a recoil while there's actually none.

I might be wrong on that though, guesses?

I have an idea using the shell casing idea, using fishing line (slightly longer than the barrel) tied to the grenade pin and the casing (still working on a modified version of it).

there isn't a recoil mechanism no, the sheer psi and lightweight makes it shake. personally though I like the smaller one because of the back recoil and shell ejection. now if he just put a shell ejector on the big one, that would be amazing

since airsoft is based on honesty, if I saw a nerf round dropping 5-10 feet from me (depending on the rules) I'd drop dead right there. Sometimes in the heat of battle, a bb touching is just better. Anyways, firing this at squads, i'd be way more happy to have a shell-less version even though it would be easy to salvage them. A part of me would be like : MOAR REALISM PLEAAAAAASE.

you put the shell in wrong, it doesn't fire, you've got jams, and reload time, an advancing enemy it adds to the stress and realism.

oh yes, just what we need.. heavy hard Tornado grenades flying through the air for over 200 yeards.. not only can that kill someone outright, but thats also an expensive bit of kit to potentially loose. .. then again that would solve the problem of some players not calling their hits, just kill em.

what could be added to the front or the preferably back of the nurf balls, is a small cap gun cartridge. have it so that once the ball strikes the ground or something just as hard like a player, the cap blows and everyone would hear the bang.
