Hat size measerments?

I had a chance to buy a Pasgt kevlar helmet with woodland cover
with cats eye helmet band.Problem was,it said large,I wear a 7 3/8
hat size and did a cm measurement of 59cm.
Is that a med or large??

7 3/8" = 7.375"

7.375" x 2.54 cm/in = 18.7325 cm (diameter)

18.7325 cm x pi = 58.85 cm (circumference)

Done on a shitty $0.99 calculator, but I'd go with 59 cm as being a large. I'm 7 1/2" and large hats fit me fine.

Thanks,but helmet you don't want to be loose.I have boonie hat that says XL
and fits nice.But I have never before bought an XL hat before.
Did you find the large just a wee bit tight??

I'f I've got a nice clean skull, it fits just right. If I get all hippy-ish and don't get a haircut, it can be a little snug.

There should be some adjustment though +/- a little bit I would think.

I wear a 7 1/4 beret and a large helmet fits just fine.
