Please take your time to spell things out properly, so we can understand what the problem is.

The problem, overall, is the gun itself that you baught, its not a VSR-10. Its a clone of one, and clones, for sniper rifles, are automatically shit. Materials are cheap, tolerances are ass backwards and it would be silly to imagine one would work anywhere near the quality a real VSR would.

Should've got verified and baught a real VSR.

Well, loss of power in VSR's can be attributed to a lot of things, mainly bad air-seal (Which is very, very common in clone guns such as the one you bought.) Or a bad barrel, bad hopup unit, hopup, so on and so on. Another thing to take into considoration is the BB's you use.

Using .12gram bb's is a surefire way to kill an airsoft gun, and .20's will be way too light. Look for something like .28's or .30's.

Honestly, the guns are so poorly made there isn't much else you can do but ask for your money back or look into buying a new gun.

How old are you? You should look into getting verified here in canada. It allows for a much larger selection of quality airsoft guns.

You'd have to spend about $450 to guarantee a good airseal.
Turn your hopup down
You definitely shouldn't have bought a sniper rifle as your first gun lol
Use heavier BBs
And take the whole thing apart, grease it properly, and make sure no o-rings are damaged.

Not very many gun docs will work on low end VSR clones.

There's a VERY good reason why we tell new people to not get low end Chinese clone of rifles that are based on tight tolerances for performance.

You've been using shitty BB's chances are you've got a torn hop-up rubber.

Even if you send it to a gundoc, it will surely cost you more than the gun did cost you at start. As other veteran airsofters told you, being a sniper is very expensive, I see a lot of 800-1000$ guns that need upgrades, so it's for sure a 200$ clone will be way off.

Getting age verified attests that you're 18 or over, and grants you the access to the classifieds, where you can buy used or almost new guns, upgraded custom guns and so on.

Sorry to say it, but these guys do have a point. Shit gun.. shit parts... and no one really wants to work on it. Bringing this in to a gun doc will be a waste of time and money. Consider this gun to be your learning curve gun for when you do get AV and get yourself a proper VSR-10

Power should be straight in the cylinder.

- O-Rings replacement on piston and cylinder head (if it has one)
- If the spring is crap just get a replacement
- Cylinder head seal

Aside from that it could be the placement of the outer barrel. Too far in could be pushing the BB too far into the barrel when loading.. too far out and you won't get a good enough seal from the hopup rubber. Could also be your hopup rubber has gone to shit.

I can't think of anything else at the moment... so I guess that's what you could try.

You can buy the guns from the classifieds and retailers, to get age verified, look up Age Verification in the search box

You should specify your location in your profile, that would help us guide you to the nearest Age Verifier.

Unfortunately, unless you are ready to invest over 800$ in your rifle, it's not worth anything.

Unlike most people around here I do find that the clone rifles are good for something. It gives the parts you need to build a gun from the ground-up that cannot be found.

For example, I have a cheap clone VSR-10. I am keeping the stock, the mag, the mag catch/block, the receiver and the top rail. Everything else is changed, outer-inner barrels, barrel spacers hop-up, rubber, cylinder, piston, trigger, spring and spring guide. I might keep the bold handle and bolt carrier until I buy something better.

I paid that gun 80$... knowing it was not working from the start, but the parts I needed are good. It saves me 500$ from a TM VSR-10 since I am changing everything on the rifle. But that still brings the rifle up to 800$ in parts.

Get AV, then check the classifieds. Sorry, even fully working, you probably won't get any more than 100$ for you gun, so with a bad air leak like that you might get 50$ (that is what I would give you).

Gather at least 300$, better around 450$. That will be enough to buy a decent used gun (don't make any mistake, most "used" guns are actually way better than new ones since they have some upgrades installed already), some mags and a cheap starter vest. If you really think you want to play sniper, get a long gun such as an M16 or SPR. If you wanted a sniper for 1-shot 1-kill, get anything that you find nice in looks. Airsoft is not video game. I know vets that still don't achieve that 1=shot 1-kill thing with sniper rifles... It's a whole other world.
