M9 Variations?

Hey guys, I've been trying to figure out a gun model for a bit... Can't find it for the life of me. Or im retarded and it doesnt exist.

Back when i had clearsoft, i had a M92fs(?) and also an M9(Same gun?), but one felt alot thinner in the grips and frame, and felt very comfortable to hold.

Was this possibly just a clearsoft variation, or is there an actual model that is skinnier?

M9 is the US military designation for Beretta 92FS. Personally, they are very uncomfortable to hold in real steel or airsoft....

Try Hogue Grips. Then you can try complaining

Maybe the one that felt smaller was a copy of a Beretta 951; a 9x19 single stack pistol or something from the 8 series; a bunch of versions all chambered for pocket pistol rounds.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and I've never seen anyone with a version like that that was non clear. Evidently they do exist on foreign retailer sights, though. I think it might be more than the grips; I think the overall grip design might be a bit slimmer, less material between the fingers and the magazine.

The issue is not texture or grip material, its FAT. Hogue makes it worse. For a double stack 9mm gun, it has really fat grip....

Glock in comparison is much easier for me to grip...

I quite like beefy grip of the M9. I guess you wouldn't like the p226 grips either cuz they're quite fat too (especially the compact p229).

My hand is size large, and the M9 grip is wayy to big... It sticks out the center of the grip is what made worse.
Had it been flat it would've been better
P226, USP all had similiar length of grip, but the largest width of m9 is untolerable.

My thoughts exactly. Don't get me wrong - M9's are good looking guns, but, damn, they're uncomfortable.

I'd say my hands are average size.

And yes, I also hate P226 grip, but thats actually for a different reason, M9 also share that. Both of them you grip very low on the gun.

I went to the range one time and had a chance to shoot one of the new Beretta 92 and a 1911 back to back, despite both being metal frame and that the 1911 shoots .45 ACP, the M9 was much more difficult to shoot for me....I just never feel my grip is that secured on the gun.

I have medium sized hands, and I love the feel of the M9 grip, particularly with the Hogue grip.

Hmmm.. The 1911 feels so thin in my hands. The M9 though, fits perfectly in my hands, as if it was made for them. The curvature, thickness of grip.. everything. The hogue grips just sweeten the deal by adding grooves for my fingers and it feels much more secure with hogue grips.

It might depend on which one you lay hands on first, really. I found the M9 grips really fat after handling my .45 a few months.

I have huge hands and my m9 feels perfect! Glocks are way small for my hands, my glock 32 feels like a toy compared to my m9......and yes I know they are both toys. From my knowledge owning a ksc m9, and once owning 2 TM berettas.
