Thumbs up Sponsors?

Hm, just been thinking, and idk if this has been asked or not; but what if we could get a big company to like sponsor the sport? You know, like maybe we'd have to put a Vachon emblem on our gun or something? Just have it at the big games with the pros, show what airsoft is really about

Errr.... No.

EDIT: For such thing, you might want to move to Gatineau, pay an insane fee to join insane players in an insane Speedsoft league.

So....you're trying to say we should be more like paintball and have corporate sponsorships and tournaments that encourage you to cheat?

No.

ya the only logos I want on my guns and gear are from the people who made it.

dont want to see guys showing up in those damn clown outfits the speedballer paintball "atheletes" wear either... gay as fuck

I like airsoft not being corperate, adds more individualism to the sport, everyone showing off their own style in both rig and personality, its a more friendly experience that way

No....I hate that. Dishonorable; I mean if we have like this coverage by the media, we could show the values of airsofting...or what not. Im not talking like going crazy, I mean like have something to show the public what we do...have fun, make friends, have a good time altogether

no coverage of airsoft will ever b good coverage unfortunatly, people will only see a bunch of guys shooting at eachother they'll think we're psycho's.

the general population is anti gun, I meen look at real ones, ya there's alot of good values and legit uses for a proper gun user, that they aren't scary at all like most people think, but everyday there's more people bashing them than their are who actually understand them, same will happen to airsoft because they too are essentially guns, and they're easier to get than most of their real steel counterparts.

airsoft and media coverage is a volitile mix. I see what your saying but it just can't happen we don't live in that world unfortunatly

You might get sponsorship from related businesses, like an army surplus, but that would work better from a game organizer point of view.

Game sponsorship happens all the time. By companies big and small involved in airsoft. They provide raffle prizes, BBs for chronies and ammo drops, T-shirts and resources to put on large scale games. Surebet is accurate, the Hosts are usually the ones that coordinate these sponsorships.

I'm not putting a Vachon, Wallmart or Rona logo on my guns.

But I'd gladly hang an Airsoftparts.ca banner up at any event...Jugglez is aces.
