Under armor heat gear
I am looking to try these shirts out. Supposedly, they are to help keep you cool
http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/e...-T/1005039-390 I am looking for OD and for tan. Any idea where I might get these? Canada seems to only get white black and grey. Or if anybody has a suggestion for an alternative, I am interested as well. I am not stuck on one brand. Thanks

OMG for the love of god don't give into advertising!
Under Armor is some of the worst, and yet, highest priced heat gear on the market. They're quite literally only famous for being famous. I've got a UA blitz shirt (which is their 'heat gear' technology) that I use for cycling, which I bought for $60. And I've got half a dozen 5.11 compression shirts I got on closeout sale from LApolicegear for like $5 each, that I use for airsoft. The 5.11 shirts are HALF as hot, smell half as bad after working out, WAY cheaper even at full retail price, just as comfortable, AND they don't ride up nearly as bad as my UA shirt. I even wear them to work, it's the closest thing to being shirtless when it's 40 degrees in the shop. Word is zensah is the best on the market, but I've only tried UA and 5.11 |

The US heatgear shirts are not hype. They are nice and cool for warm weather ops. I wear them for work Arizona and New Mexico. They are a light weight fabric, which I like as opposed to the heavy feel of cool max fabric. I haven't paid list for mine, I found them at a gun show for $15.00 USD.

Well, I followed up some of the other names.
So far I found mostly black and white. 5.11 seems to be interesting but they only have tan as a colour of interest. UA has the most choices by far. I'll keep on looking. Thanks for your replies.

I've picked up 7 UA shirts which were loose fit type. I've been pretty happy with them except for the stitching over the shoulders. The two edges at the shoulder panels are a bit on the itchy side, but the material seems to breathe very well. I haven't had any stink issues yet, but my shirts are only a few weeks old, but I wear them every day in an unairconditioned workshop.
Cheapish at $14 each on ebay.
