Magpul Mags and KWA M4s?
Hey Gents found these mags and I really want them but heard the KWA M4s are picky with their mags and wondered if you guys know if they'll fit nice.
http://www.tactical-center.com/items...=3&sc=25&i=141 Thanks in advance. Any and all help is appreciated.

it really depends on the gun itself and the PMAG batch. with my KWA I had to shave a little plastic off the tops of the PMAG with a dremel so they would fit properly and then I tried a buddies and they fit perfectly without modding. so at most you'll have to dremel a bit for a fit but they'll feed.

I love my kwa but god damn its a picky gun. My girlfriends G&G m4 just takes what ever m4 mag happens to be sitting around and works great.
I am also curious about the magpul magazines as I would really love to have more then just the high cap that came with the gun. Right it is the only mag I have that is reliable for feeding in the kwa. |

I just tested this exact combo last weekend at Jericho. The MAGPUL 120 round PMAGS that you linked to do not fit into the KWA M4's. The EMAGS are supposed to but I don't have any to test. The 75 or 80 round (can't remember) green label ones did fit into the KWA M4.

mag brand mag 120 rnds 100% work
king arms 120 rnd 100% work star 85 rnd 100% work magpul pts 120 rnd 100% work magpul green label - feeding problem - mag needs to be pushed forward to release bbs into the hop up. putting tape in the magwell does not help. Tested on new kwa m4a1 with metal reciever (looks like raised portions in metal magwell) 2gx gearbox. |

good to know. MAG seems to be brand that consistently comes up as having no/minimal issues. At least after doing a cursory search on other forums.
Admittedly this was a detail I overlooked when purchasing my KWA M4A1. I suppose in retrospect, in the interest of simplicity, I'd choose something else for the mag compatibility reason, but then again, once you got a box or two [of mags], you're good. edit: (confirmed) King Arms Plastic Mags work fine. I assume the metal ones will too - will try soon.
