G&G M4 EBB question

Anyone happen to know the standard length of the hand guard for the G&G M4 Blowback? I'm waiting for the thing in the mail but wanna order an RIS/RAS system for it. I'm guessing 7 inches, but if anyone knows for sure I'd be much obliged. thanks in advance!!!

Handguards are commonly 7" but sometimes G&G does things differently and it may be longer or shorter by an 1". I remember reading on here that G&G handguards are different so you may have to do a trail and error test. Search around and to confirm what I've said. Good luck.

P.S. To answer your question, any 7" rail should fit but there are all ways fitment issue in airsoft.

I have a G&G M4-CQB/R and the usable area of the rails is 6" long, but the whole system (including the mounts) is 7" long. I don't know if that helps you any.

thats awesome thanks guys, very helpful. I'm looking at a 7 inch daniel defense rail system that should fit, just wanted to get some confirmation before I dumped a hundred bucks on it. At least I know it will be close to the right size push comes to shove out comes the dremmel for some amateur butchery. Thanks again!

Hey Cory :P.

Is the DD rail free float? If so, you'll probably have to ditch the front triangle sight for one that works with the new rail.

It should be a standard 7" if you plan on removing the triangle sight, you'll also have to buy a new outer barrel, as its an entire one piece set.
Otherwise, it should be fine.

To answer my own question in the hopes that it will help someone else down the line the 7" Daniel Defense Rail is compatible with the G&G M4 electric blowback just takes a little patience and you will need an external battery box or stock setup. thanks for steering me in the right direction folks.
