New CA P90 Proline clearsoft @007
Whats the deal with this gun. Says its a proline but with a tinted plastic upper receiver. The Internal specs look like a proline. Anyone taken the plunge on this one yet? I have read quite conflicting reports on CA"s internal quality lately. The sportline received horrible reviews. A g&p upper on this puts it over $500. Any opinions on this new hybrid?
Thanks. |

If its Proline, it should be a solid performer. Only CA Sportlines are crap made to compete in the low-end market. I might look into this down the road, I have the CA Sportline P90 which I haven't had much of a problem with.

I've never heard of a Proline CA P90, so this leads me to believe the clear version is a Sportline.
But what do I know. |

I know CA did make a Proline P90 but the Sportline was released first. I don't think Ken would advertise it was Proline when its a Sportline P90. But I don't know of anyone who bought a Proline P90, everyone else sported the TM or Echo1.

I've got one coming in the mail to the US, so once customs stops being an ass and lets me have my gun, if anyone has any questions, i'll answer. Mine is the non-Canadian but i assume that makes no difference internally.

i just purchased one from ken, and yes it is the PROLINE one, but with a clear upper .... so we kinda get the short end of the stick on that one while not really getting a price decrease for it as far as im aware.
when it gets here ill let you all know |

Why get this over TM if it costs more even?

Do you live in Canada?
Just saw yoru other thread stating your from the States. It should be noted that our pricing in Canada is not anywhere near what your used to. We pay 1.5-3X the price due to the state of airsoft in Canada. I'm not gonna get into why that is, but if your interested the info is all over the board in our stickies, namely in the Newbie Tank. |

I've only had problems with the trigger when not on lipo. The switch is pretty sensitive. Good gun and it costs less that a TM. Trademarks are something to be desired but meh.

I"m going to take the plunge and buy it. I have wanted a P90 for a while. I have never owned a ca. I have a VFC Scar heavy - It if performs anywhere near to what my scar does I will be content. Now the hard part is slipping another AEG past my wife. Perhaps if i say "its better than getting a girlfriend".LOL!
Seriously I want to give this thing a try - I am really curious about CA's proline. |
