Real Sword type 56 upgrades?
Hi, I'm wondering how to upgrade a real sword type 56 to shoot at higher velocity than 330fps and where to get a softer rubber bucking thing?
This is not for gaming but for fun around my farm Whats strongest spring I could put in and how big a battery can I run? Also need someone to do the work, prefferably a shop but if someone has good trader rating I'd be interested as well |

first off, I guess I'll be the one to say get AV'd and checkout the classifieds for parts. also I'll say I don't recommend you shooting that on your farm! I have a real sword and they look real, like put an AK beside it and not tell the difference real, If your neighbours or passers-by see it you'll have the cops there so fast.

You do not have to be AV'd to buy springs or hop up rubbers or batteries as being AV'd is for certain transactions on ASC and these items are easily found online elsewhere.
It doesn't hurt to be AV'd but for what your asking for it's not a requirement. You can do the spring upgrade yourself: http://www.mechbox.com/mechbox/v3-me...g-upgrade.html A Modify S110 irregular spring should bring the T56 up to just under 400 fps. A Guarder Clear Hop Up Rubber works well with AEGS shooting at or under 400 fps.

Not 100% on this but I believe the T56's already come with tight bore barrels.
I have two myself but I have never checked. Using a Modify S120 or S130 spring would bring the T56 over 400 fps. That's a "hot gun" for most gaming around where I live. Check your local field first before gaming if you upgrade. A stronger spring means a higher muzzle velocity (fps). A good hop up will give you better range.

I'm assuming your looking for a local gundoc. If so, check out Op-for.ca
We play in Surry at Panther Paintball, and there are...3-4 gundocs, all great. Register in the forums and check out the doctors corner, and there are threads about each gundoc. Good luck! |

the RS type 56 comes stock with an m130 before canadian regulation has its hands on it. so an M130 would be best suited for the AEG assuming you are not changing anything else, as for tightbore I doubt you'd want to waste your money on it the RS 56's are badass guns when you get the upgrade spring into it.

M130 = 429 FPS. (rough conversion) Upgrading the installed version 3 spring guide with an aftermarket one isn't a bad idea either.

The real Sword type 56 has an m130 stock in Hong Kong, it is made to shoot 420+ fps, when they arrive in Canada the spring is replaced with an m90 making it shoot at 330 fps. hence "before canadian regulation has its hands on it." |

I just bought it last week from a guy coworker who had it on his wall Its never fired a BB I'll have to order battery and charger looking over specs and 330 fps seems pretty mild I want it to run as hot as i can anybody from BC work on these things? |

There were plenty of RS 56's and 56 -1's in Canada in late 2008 and 2009 that came in shooting as low as 300 fps and as ridiculously high as 500+ fps. My 56 chronied in at 408 fps and my 56-1 chronied in at 444 fps when I got them.

They can easily take a M150 with a large enough battery, these motors have HUGE amounts of torque.
I'd suggest a good hop-up rubber and a good barrel.. The barrel window of stock Realsword guns REALLY sucks. |
