It doesn't take THAT much gas to push a BB that far... I've seen Hicapas shoot just fine with a TM G-spec barrel... but an extended Pro-sniper barrel... |

ok, judt got the gun today and it is HEAVY!!!! seems to fire well, and is definately better than my roomates standard g26c.
here id the current state of the gun..... UN Custom-KSC G26 Metal Version -KSC G26 Based -KSC G26 Metal Slide Installed -Hi-Flow Valve Installed -Strengthen Recoil Spring Installed -Tuned For Top Gas -Airsoft Surgeon Power-Up Floating Valve -PDI 6.01 Precision Inner Barrel noticed a difference with accuracy right away with the tight bore inner barrel!! it appeasr there is another slot on the outside of the barrel for another O RING, so i will likely order another stick one. might just be to help reduce wobble (which i have yet to experience. ) once i installed the AS floating valve, all i can say is WOW!! definately stonger!!! although, it EATS gas like it is its JOB!!!!! but, no matter, i need to go buy more anyway, i will likely go red gas. so, basically, first impressions are great, still have a few parts coming.... GD-PT-GLOCK07 Guarder Enhanced Piston Lid for GD-PT-GLOCK10 Guarder Enhanced Hammer Spring GD-PT-GLOCK12 Guarder Magazine Catch for KSC Glock Series SD-PT-S710 Shooters Design Reinforced Part 10 for KSC Glock SD-PT-S718 Shooters Design Steel Impact Hammer oh, i also took out the hop up TINY silver ball. not on purpose, i actually lost it :banghead: doesnt seem to effect anything yet, but i am hoping you guys will chime in helping explain it's function. |

The silver ball is important... It's the "bucking" that provides the pushing force on the BB to apply the hop-up.
I'd recommend buying multiple #14 and multiple #16, high FPS is going to wear out the rubber quickly... and every time I change my rubber I lose that damn ball bearing. |

wow, i will have to track down that ball!!, in the meantime will replace it with a bearing from a differential of a team associated rc18t. looks to be about the same size.
anyhow, WOW, DOES THIS THING EAT GAS!!!!!!!! i am talking 1/2 a 15rnd mag and i need a refill........... any thoughts? also, EVERY OTHER shot, is a no fire. so something is clearly sticking. also, (may be related) if i fill he gas while the mag is in he gun, is just blows out the barrel, any thoughts? okm those are the problems. now, fun stuff........... this thing is STRONG!!!! is fires wih a VERY LOUD bang, and is perfectly sized and weighted!!!! i love it and cannot wait to make her even more powerful. here is some eye candy..... next to a "stock" G23C (26C has a shiny slide for some reason, the 26 looks more like the real steel) here are a few shots (better quality, and next to the real steel GLOCK 27 .40 cal..... (if you cant tell which is the real gun, you need yer eyes checked :P) and, now for some shooting results. some of you know the poor mans chrono, i dont know what each result equals in FPS, but going streight through a beer can HAS to be pretty strong.... 2 shots trough the same site, using .23g pellets........... entry wound......... exit wound......... looking streight through the hole........... entry wound in cardboard box......... exit from box.......... depth of box.......... perhaps you guys can tell me what the issues are from, and the avg FPS based on the can test. thanks in advance for your help!!!!! there are sstill more parts coming, so hopefulle she will only get stronger!!! according to the FPS poor mans chrono, i am near 350-370!!!! not too bad for a gun with a REALLY SHORT barrel!!! http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...il?bulletID=34 Last edited by MikeMcNair; May 17th, 2009 at 14:41.. ok, i am trying to figure out what this teflon mod is, and how to do it. PLEASE help, cause all my searching comes up for NON GLOCK series guns.
please help me identify what needs to be teflon'd, and how much should be applied?????? here is the parts diagram again.... |

I believe the mod is to wrap teflon tape around the joint between the hop up packing the inner barrel (parts 14 and 170 and any parts that go inbetween, just to create a good seal between those two parts).

Awesome. Thanks!!! I just found tiny metal balls from an rc car diff. I will post a pic once I get off the iPhone
edit: hard to see, but they are two different sizes, so i am bound to have one that fits. they are from an RC18T differential rebuild kit i had laying around. they should hold me over....... http://thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_deta...at_name=RC18T# Last edited by MikeMcNair; May 17th, 2009 at 17:03.. styrak, what would you recommend (other than actually springing for a real chrono, cause i would rather spend the loot on stuff for the gun.
