i like to have at least 10 midcaps or more. at least 3 pistol mags too.
I don't shoot much but I often find myself single handedly holding the flank or something like that which requires a mucho sized ammo supply. |

Skirmishes = 10x30rnd pmags
Anything longer = 10x68rnd pmags I always keep 2+1 for my p226

Milsim: 8 GBBR + 3 for Glock
No ammo limit skirmishes: 8 mid caps + 3 for Glock (mostly so I don't have to reload often) Last edited by ViR; March 23rd, 2012 at 19:46.. |

The more weight, the better. I love how heavy GBBR mags are, lol. If it feels too heavy, work out.

M4 type = 6 in vest + 1 in AEG. Lowcaps loaded with 30 + 3 bb's for hop-up well compensation.
1911 double stack co2 = 1 in mag, 2 in vest. 14 bb's loaded in each. Any senario, that's my setup. My philosophy ; Reloading underfire ingame equals at least to 20 bedroom dry reloads so I practice reloading ingame anytime I can. Having a low amont of BB's in your AEG actually helps you a lot more. Hi-caps should be banned because they will give you muscle memory coodies. |

8 midcap PMAGs loaded to about 70-75 rds each or 8 MP5 midcaps
and 1 pistol mag and 1 to 3 90rd speed loaders depending on rig capacity. I'm looking for a decent solution for longer games where I'd be carrying a whole bunch of mags in a pack so that I can re-supply my teammates.

14 - 90 rnd midcaps - AK
16 - 90 rnd midcaps - M16/M4 Sometimes I will carry a highcap as a "just in case" for either gun. Depends on which gun im using(AK/M4). I might boost my AK AND M4 mag count by another 3 mags. Might seem a little unrealistic to some. However, I'm not carrying grenades, radio/s, body armour, and/or other mission essential equipment :P

For myself
Run and gun = as many as I can carry (real cap GBBR) Milsim (real Milsim) = 5 (real cap GBBR) 8 day Milsim game in Oklahoma used 60 bbs total, I was the second most trigger happy in my squad, a couple of the guys never fired a shot. Most of the milsim games I have played you are loaded down with water and a green radio, possibly a pack, sleeping bag, half shelter, MRE`s, notebooks etc. I am told real world is five mags with the option of reloading from the support gunners supply you are carrying or from the ammo in your pack and your loadout should replicate this. And of course ponies fed tactical bacon with a PEZ dispensor for my P90 mags. |
