The sad part is, until someone actually gets badly injured, this fuckhead won't clue in unless you take his shit or put some fear in him.
The friend that took my left eye was the same way, and didn't stop until I had to scare the shit out of him by holding a rifle four inches from his face and make him believe I'd use it. I'm not recommending that method, but putting fear in a person makes them change their perspective on shit.

If you wanna go the violent way of curing stupidity, just hit him every time he does something stupid, and escalate the punishment when he repeats past mistakes. It really does work.

If you wanna be non violent about it, tell him if he doesn't wanna follow the rules he can get the fuck out.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no difference between a real firearm and an airsoft gun in CQB. Both can bounce and both can cause shrapnel.

First off breaking or stealing his shit is gonna get you in cuffs not him. Calling the COP's just leads to heat none of you need. One joint laying out from a party 2 months ago and the whole house gets raided. Heat brings heat.

This is the same shit we tell people when they talk about gun control. The guns are not the problem, the human is. Sort out the person and the gun problems solve themselves. If you and your friends are too pussy to sort him out one on one, then a blanket party or a group meeting where you lay it down for him are your only options.

Retards offing and injuring themselves makes great YouTube, but more often than not they hurt folks around them too. Sort him the fuck out or curl you tail between your legs and get away from the inevitable shit storm that comes along with a 20 something losing his vision for life.

Luckily I'm in a position of authority within the house- The only one that exceeds my authority happens to be buddy, but gun safety doesn't respect rank. I sent out a message to everybody with the following topics:

- The four laws of gun safety
- CF range protocol
- The use of proper eye protection
- The proper storage of guns
- The importance of safety above all else

So far feedback has been good- The rest of the house supports gun safety, and the topic has been added to the agenda for the next house meeting after the break. I plan on refining the email a bit and pushing it as an amendment to the house constitution/by-laws.

Until then though, if he does anything stupid with the gun again, his gun's magazine will conveniently fall into an obscure nook and cranny somewhere in his room.

Go through whatever politics/process you need to...but at the end of the day, keep it to:
* abide by these rules/conduct...or forfeit deposit and vacate premises within 30day.

Need to tie some sort of monetary hook to it. Also needs a "this is serious" consequence to it.
