the other side of age verification
whats it like on the other side of the age varification barrier? is it really worth it to go and setup a meeting? is it really as beautiful as I dreamed? with tonnes upon tonnes "for sale" ads like an ebay for aeg's and not just the clear lower reciever ones or buyairsoft ones we have to buy? like real TM's and CA's? are there parts and accessories pyro and other amazing stuff to buy aswell as properly organized events and meetn'greet's? proper modifications and all that other great stuff?
oh please, please tell me, I'm going to be 18 in a couple months and am tired of (well I have a real TM from b4 the bans) messing around with school chums who suck and have shitty guns and rig's. I can't wait! I get to play with the real players soon!

It's not like it's *that* hard anyways, since if it's too hard for someone to get AV'd, it's also too hard for him to get out to a game, so... I'd say yess.

Ummm.. AV just means you get access to the Classifieds and special AV section of the forum.
There is no "real" gundoc forum and none of them are fronts for the "real sections"..... EDIT: The meet and greets are public to my knowledge. I mean it's kind of unreasonable to hold a meet and greet if you need to be verified to be able to get in on them when it's supposed to be to introduce new players, get them verified and such. Yeah.... Guys... I think they're onto us, how does the info about the real sections even get out? How does he know that the ones that he sees are just fake sections. I think someone is leaking info from the inside. Let's go on a witch hunt!

A bunch of what you said is availble without being AV'd (games, upgrades & shit forum,...). What isn't availble without being AV'd is buying and selling guns... that's pretty much it.

That's the kind of guy i'd just love to kick in the balls.  But yes, it is really that good, you can get just about anything your little heart desires, but you'll have to be patient for a couple more months to see just how big the options are.

tehe! but yeah, how much real aeg's are on the other side? like CA's and other proper brands, stocks (I need a folding stock for my Ak), and ooh! no one answered the pyro question yet! is there pyro? like the flashbang stuff you see on the airsoft youtube scoutthedoggie (biggest airsoft youtube page) videos in scotland? I'm mostly centered on buying stuff I can't get from websites here in canada or customs anymore since all the bans

nope sorry no pyro, explosive devices are banned in canada... there is plenty of alle the rifle you want most of them are used but hey, it'S still better than nothing... and for accesories like folding stock just go check ebaybanned or ehobby or our local super awesome mega store www.airsoftparts.ca

No wait... You can buy 10 AEGS a day in here if you like to... Seriously, AV not only grant you access to all the goodies, but unfortunatly, it also give you somewhat more credibility if you are not well known. Because if you ask a question or comment on stuff, people tend to reply "Get Age Verified first..."

Yeah, I was gonna say..
Coming from a person that very recently just got age verified and joined this community, it's worth it. Definitely better guns on this side, a slightly higher feeling of respect because people see that you went through the effort to get AV'ed... and I can't complain about the all-you-can-eat buffet and ability to fly |
