Moving troops under their own steam but faster than a walk is an excellent use of resources.

Don't discount bicycles as military transportation..
Oh no doubt that they are effective. Some could argue it was the Canadian use of bikes that allowed them to get so far inland. I just wouldn't want to be on one if I got shot at.

The idea of the bike is you HALO or HAHO way into the middle of nowhere and you'd use the bike to rapidly cover ground till you near your objective.

Why a bike? Light enough to drop with a trooper without showing up on RADAR like a vehicle drop would. No heat signature from an engine. Much quieter to travel with and easier to cache in an out of the way spot. You can follow animal or human trails also instead of roads.

No one's going to assaulting from a bike or going on patrol. Ambushed on a bike just means you can break contact faster than on foot. Guys using bikes like that are going to be in a small group and will fade away when they meet the enemy. Not go toe to toe and slug it out.

Tne quality will be good. The same company made the replica softshell, ranger fleece. This is another company I trust other than allwin. The only issue of the company is that it is not like Element which is heavily rely on overseas market, the small company mostly focus on domestic market in china. That's why his production volumn is so small. Once the products is sold out, it will take a long time for next batch. Softshell and ranger fleece are teh cases.
