In downtown montréal. They don't allow it in bars and clubs. Schools are banning it.
You can buy cheap replica at your local thungs outfitter... It's just pathetic. All gangsta wannabe.

Oh man, I wonder how many people have been wounded from shootings because they thought their friend's phattastic new outerwear was actually bulletproof.

IMO, their lost of blood is only good for the society. As long as they don't end up crippled and dependent on our money to live.

Cold, but I agree. We shouldn't have to pay more income tax for someone else's stupidity.
HOWEVER, I'm not sure if this law has been altered, but a friend of mine had his dad bring a few toys into the city to show me some of the neat stuff he had out at his farm (no firearms). He was pulled over for speeding and as it turns out your not supposed to have gen2+ night vision or above level IIA body armor within city limits. The whole gen2+ thing I think is total BS, but it makes sense they wouldn't allow you to have better armor than the police. Of course this is just what his dad was told by an RCMP officer, could have just been the officer being a dick... |

Plus there are civilians with legit reasons for having body armor: some armored car outfits have guys supplying their own gear, bodyguards, I've seen some club bouncers who wanted ballistic/anti-stab, private security guards (like for alarm companies) that need to go inspect alarms on site (they're unarmed otherwise), etc.

I thought Farmboy had some plates for sale through One Shot Tactical. Soft armour I'm not sure on, but he did have some poly plates as well as ceramic at one time.
He's not on the retailer bar anymore though.
