Bandoleer with fastmag

Hey you guys, so I have recently just been using just a hydro pack, leg rig, and blast type belt for mags, whatnot, and really prefer to pack light. I have tried several rigs, but really like light load-outs. I was wondering if anyones tried out, and/or owns a bandoleer, and if they find them comfortable, useful ect.. As well, I've seen bandoleers with fast mags attached upside down, and I am beginning to like the idea of that. Anyone have any advice or opinions on bandoleers/fastmag combos?

I've thought about the same setup for more casual days of play. I've seen people with the bandoleer, they speak well of it. I'm not sure about the fastmag, though. What is the advantage of what merely seems to plasticized shingles?

The TAD bandoleer is fine, but don't expect it to take the place of a full-out rig. I mean, if you're expecting it to take the job of carry 12 mags, food, ammo, batteries, radio, etc., you won't be happy with it. It puts all the weight of your gear on 1 shoulder, instead of both.

I find that for me to use the bandoleer, I still need to wear my blast belt, and I slim out the load to just mags. I mean, it's meant as a quick bug-out rig for drivers who need a quick fighting load, not as a primary battle rig.

thanks for the replys. What do you guys think of the Phatom V vest? http://www.1337tactical.com/shop/pro...p?productId=96

Looks light, enough space for pouches, and looks like maybe I could use grimlocks, or malice clips to attatch my camelpak to the back. Opinions?

I really like the look of the bandoleer, i could see it being a good platform for a light rig for a DMR or sniper set up but depending on how many mags you carry highcap / low cap user it might not be enough for an assult rig. I know with my Ciris i have more then i need with it and definitly could prune it down a little. I like the look of the phantom vest, looks like just enough space to have everything you need without that thick vest/rig style.
