Looking for a bandoleer, but with a twist...
Greets,
I'm looking to build a new ultralight rig for the winter CQB season, so I thought about a bandoleer as a base. I found two nice looking systems with Blackhawk! and TAG, but I have a problem... They have the MOLLE stitched in a way that makes the pouches perpendicular to the bandoleer. Since I want to attach a MOLLE Camelback (I spent a pretty penny for a nice MOLLE unit, and I like having water available on the go) and I might end up using P90 pouches, I need strips that allow pouches to be mounted parallel. I haven't found what I'm looking for. Halp? |

TAD Gear makes a bandoleer and they also make a hydration pouch for it that mounts the way you want. I think it's called the OP-2 pouch.

I've seen what you need. It's a molle panel that rotates your molle 90 degrees. Trying to find it for you. BHI is hecka slow since they went flash.

Argh! BHI is so slow. Basically you want their S.T.R.I.K.E. horizontal platform.

mcguyver: I'm quite fond of my current hydro pouch, but thanks for the option
coachster: Close, but I'm not sure it would be small enough... More research is needed, but at least I have another option. *Goes back to Google* |

You can always use Malice clips in your molle carrier and run them perpendicular to each other through the bandoleer.
That's how I attached an Eagle one to my TAD. I've since removed it though as I don't need it (there's a hyd pouch in the range vest).

it's 7x7inches. big enough to mount 2 mag pouches side by side. notice that's it's only 4 loops wide. in the picture the panel is mounted on the right so it's 4 loops tall.

OR... You could use Tactical tailor adaptors... Depends on your needs.
