Where to find 20rd single M4 pouches?
Does anyone make molle pouches like this?
- single mag pouch (holds 1 mag, not 2 stacked) - open top, no flap (elastic retainer) - doesn't need a retaining plastic insert inside - holds a 20rd M4 / M16 mag (like a VN mag or Magpul Pmag 20). This means I don't want to use a regular M4 pouch and have the 20rd mag drop to the bottom, I want the top 3rd or whatever exposed for grabbing. I don't really want one of those plastic case Fastmag thingies either. This would do fine, but I don't have confidence I would get it if I ordered from here: http://www.icetactical.com/pouch-singlem4quickdraw.html If anyone has any links, that would be great. Thanks |

You could always try an M14 mag pouch.
I googled you up a thread from another forum. The OP there speaks of his ordeal and what he did and where he went to aquire some that would work for his VN style mags. http://www.houstonairsoft.com/module...warticle&id=46

stuff the bottom of a regular single mag pouch with foam.
I recently started using stubby midcaps in addition to my regular mags and I basically set them up double stacked on one side. |

Because their customer service and turn around is practicaly non existent, as far as im concerned they are no better than a thief. Panda your best bet is probably to put a spacer at the bottom, remember these are made for real M4 Mags which are about an inch longer than airsoft mags.

Thanks guys, I'll check those out. The CP gear one is still a 30rd single (3 rows of molle), but the 511 has 2 rows, that could work.
I'll try an M14 pouch too at my local surplus. That's so simple, I didn't even think of that (smacks head). Tombstone: I've gotten some stuff before from Ice, but only when I was there in person. I've ordered other things before and never got them because they don't always stock the materials they say they have. Most people that have ordered online had had serious delivery issues. They also just disconnected their phone lines, so their business seems rather shakey right now. |

G3 Mag pouches would probably work too.

They fit in the Canadian Issue Tac Vest grenade pouches quite well IMO (of course in my case its a repro from Army Issue)
Or use the M14 pouches, and stuff your socks in the bottom like we did in the 'Nam. |

Thanks guys, I'll check them out!
One question tho regarding M14 pouches: isn't an M14 mag a lot wider than an M4 mag? The rounds are longer, right? If I put an M4 mag into an M14 pouch, wouldn't it be crazy loose? (*Sorry, I have never had / held and M14 so I have no clue as to size). |
