Cut off lever for p90?
My friend's p90's cut off lever wore off, now gun won't fire in semi because the lever can't push the trigger mechanism up.
Problem is, it's molded metal, while the sector gear is a harder metal, it's like the cut off lever gets sanded. Unless there aren't any electronic solutions, or cut off lever replacements, we will make one for ourselves out of hardened aluminium. So anyone know a better cut off lever for the tokyo marui p90? Or any electronic upgrades? |

No. TM atm is the only manufacturer for the P90. (and im purposely excluding the firepower shitsoft one. Classic army will also be making a P90 in the near future. I highly do not recommend making one from aluminium. its too soft and will shred in no time. My suggestion is to replace it, tho i havent had any issues with my p90 to that regard.

It's hardened aluminium, after the material is precision molded into shape, it's hardened, it should do better than the stock tm cut off lever, and not that expensive to make.
But it's the design thats the trouble, the pressure on the contact point with the sector gear's bump is too much, because the arm that pushes the trigger contact up is too long. Don't know why tokyo marui made such a weird design. |

Because the possible movement on the gear side is very small wheh comparing to the needed movement on the trigger side.
I never had problems with that part before (had 2 P90s), but you could install a TriggerMaster FET kit and use it to control semi fire. It would not be as good and you can't decompress the spring as easily. That piece it not supporting that mich stress. You could probably make one out of high grade alluminium and have no problem with it. I recomment you to anodise it to make it more durable (most of the place that can do it will charge you 5$ to do it with an other batch) |
