wow that was a long time ago already. sure was heavy. i used it a ks2.5 and my one arm looked like popeye's lol. i eventually did get an m320, but modding it on the xm8 was more trouble than it was worth. so i sold them both and got a ptw lol. some day i will get another and continue where i left off.

Agreed. It was an awesome idea and it turned out looking and working great. Now I think the gun looks great with a launcher, but I think the 'old school', low-tech look of the 203 sort of throws off the hi-tech vibe of the XM8 a bit. I think it's the ribbed guard on the launcher that seems to clash visually for me with the smooth flow of the XM8.

But either way it looks good and is functional, so that's what mattters in the end.

i think the xm8 would be better lookin if those heat sheild things were smaller and the grenade launcher shorter or if it had a scar grenade launcher somehow cuz those look pretty awesome on the scars.
on a real xm8 does it actually have "xm8" written on the side? it makes it look kinda toyish

i used a be xm8 body to build my brother his first aeg with ca internals. that black paint job makes me want to take his and at least paint it a really dark grey

The earlier prototypes of the XM8 had that goofy "XM8" on the side. I'm not sure if the later protos had it too.

aaaaaahhhh, so true, so true. it was either this or the star l85, i figured it would be esier to buy and build a new m8 than to source out a new star l85. i cant remember who i sold it to, i wonder how its doing.
