I've got the Creation frame and slide, which I was told were the easiest to fit in.
Thanks to all you guys for the great support. Anyway, I don't think I'm going to try anything without first playing enough with the stock version until bored. I also got a lot of other upgrades, like: Firefly recoil guide and springs guarder enhanced loading muzzle PDI 6.01 inner barrel and all valves. So, upgrading, at the appropiate time of course, will be much fun. Thanks to all. It's been a great thing asking you first. YOU'RE THE BEST> |

upgrade done but...
hello everyone,
After some time with the parts standing in the box, I decided to try and upgrade my P226. First did the slide, than the frame. Apart from being a total newbie and this being the cause of paint chipping and screws damaging, finally the gun came back together. I installed the creation metal set and firefly recoil guide and spring and a PDI 6.01 inner barrel. Now the problem is that the gun is shooting accurately enough, but not where I'm aiming. It shoots down and to the right. about two inches or so. How can this be corrected? I guess some type of calibration is needed, but I haven't got the slightest clue how this can be done. There is also some play between frame and slide, is this normal? basically now everything is moving, frame to slide, slide to outer barrel, outer barrel to inner barrel, and so on....:-| |
