Im going to checkout kens site and see if it says anything about matching other prices... ASCA lists its CA 36 for $550, Ken lists his CA 36 and CA 36K at $640... $80 difference. I wouldn't have to pay shipping or get "age verified" with Ken though...

dude, wait until you're 18. or get age verified. that way u have more time to research, play some games, hey and even save up more money so u can get get some gear for whatever gun u get. Guys here r bug on age verification, just hold your horses and be patient. it'll all work out in the long run

being 18 is a requirment to buy a gun, not play the sport. IF your parent are comfotable buying you a gun, cool. but you have to prove yourself at local games (being certian local games allow under age players!) that your compitent or haveing said gun bought for you is a waste of your time. i dont think i need to re-iterate the field age laws. being under age forces you to walk the line and as youve seen here people will write you off before you have a chance to prove yourself so be prepared to put up with that. getting mad about it will only justify their judgment.
as for your question both are really good guns. the tm is more customizable and you can (and should) get the large battery forgrip, but doesnt offer anything over the other brand (and has a sub-par body plastic quality) the ca is newer with more advancments in design, has the carry handle integrated scope wich is a pro or con depending on what you like. has a nicer quality body. from those 2 id still say the tm, but i would recommend the star g36 over any of them, ive seen all three and feel the star is much nicer over all. is has exceptional body, (true to spec scale) and most recent design. |

Alright, thanks for the info guys, I made this with pics from the CA site, the guns are pretty well to scale with eachother, just a visual referance to show anyone else thats interested, the stocks are lined up so that you can view length:
![]() should I add weapon specs to each weapon as well (barrel length, ect)? |

I mean, gearboxes aren't hard to fix, but just keep in mind that you may need to spend a bit more than you would expect. Personally, I would take the CA. Just because I like the reinforced internals and the fiberglassish body. It has so much more than ABS. |

Alright, I think im going to go for the CA G36K version, it seems like a good starter gun since its a "in between" outdoor and indoor gun, not so compact that its inaccurate outside, but not so big that its hard to manuver during a quick head to head hallway fight... seems good for me

Well, Ken at 007 Airsoft does gun repairs as well, and I can contact him easily, so if my gun ever breaks, and can just call him up

hmm
od point to make, the full length g36 weighs less than the g36k? I'm not sure this is true, I cant see how it can be. And to answer the guys original point
![]() If i was you I would go with a g36k(even if it does weigh more) it has a long enough barrel to compete at longer ranges, and is small enough to be used in cqb(with stock folded) |

I took the specs from the Classic Army website, in not sure as to there accuracy... though im fairly sure they would know there own product specs...

if u do decide to get the G36K, if u end up not likiing the carrying handle/sight. remove it and get a G36C rail conversion kit(u can get those right? im sure ive seen them around) and u can mount ur own sights, and keep it low profile
