Hmm, my apologies. It sounded to me like he wasn't planning on declaring them or filling out any paperwork, but simply sticking it in his checked luggage or anything. With the crap that floats through this section daily, there was nothing to prove me otherwise.

Kane, if you were planning on delcaring/transporting them as firearms, I sincerely apologize for the tone of my post.

Shit, I'm just gonna see if there's somebody out east that I can ship it to prior to the event. By the time I go and buy an airline-approved case and mess around with the paperwork, I can Xpresspost it for the same price. Thanks everyone for their input; lets leave this one on a good note.

Cheers, Brent

If you're going to be too lazy to make a phone call concerning the guns you have and are planning to use, you shouldnt be going out to the event. There's also the chance that the ground shipment would be delayed, and that you would arrive with no guns. Wouldnt that be fun?

I think the real answer would be to buy high-caps

I believe that you have to check your firearms, you can't carry them on the plane obviously. I remember seeing a sign at the airport regarding firearms, I'll have to check for it again when I leave for vacation next week.
