m4 stock help
Searched the forums didn't find a topic. I think the threads that hold the long screw in my m4 stock are messed up because i can pull my whole m4 rear section off just with a lil force. I can't sling my m4 either because the whole section including buffer tube slides right off.
Do I need a new gearbox to fix the problem or?

I will try and help you here. look at these two pics.
  the problem you are having is with your spring guide. You are missing that bolt that you see in the second pic. I am not good with trying to put things down in words but the pic should help you out more then me trying to type things out.

Check the threading on the long screw and check the nut at the back of the spring guide you have in that gearbox.

thanks a lot, that was the problem but i thought ti was kinda wierd. i've had this thing for a long time and i've never had a problem with a loose stock until now. and when i opened the gearbox, that lil screw was no where to even be seen.
