WA Hop-Up adjustment?

Alright to be honest WA guns are great but wow they're differnt (lots of parts in them lol). Thanks to Primus I was able figgure out the mag issuse I had.

Now to figgure out how to adjust the Hop-Up.

I have this gun:Western Arms S.C.W./ Wilson GILDED V12

I can get the gun appart but cant see a way of getting the inner barrel out of the outter barrel or to adjust the hopup.

Anyhelp would be sweet.

Also If anyone would know what the vaule of this gun might be?

Thanks.

To adjust the hopup you will need to take the slide off then when you look at the underside of it (the slide) you will see a hole when you can insert an allen key. It's basically in that little block behind the recoil spring guide.

As for the value if it's in good shape, I'd say mid to high 300 dollars but not 100% sure on that one.

I've owned both SCW 1911 and Magna 1911... i think the gilded V12 was only available in Magna blowback, if, in that case refer to this diagram:
http://tech.airsoftcanada.com/WA/wa-Colt1911.jpg

you shouldn't need to take the inner barrel out of the outer barrel.
You just have to take the slide off the gun, and adjust the screw directly under the chamber, Part no.97.

Don't over tighten the screw, the female threads are made of plastic and can easily be stripped.

Hope that helps.

well, the gun is worth at least $350 in near mint condition but i sold mine for $300 shipped.
And to be quite honest, i regret selling it, and i plan to get another one in the future.

here's my old FS thread!

did you buy the gun from Damien?
