Lower the FPS on my GBBR.....
Hello,
I currently have a M4 KWA PTS GBBR for the CQB, super gun by the way. Problem is that velocity is too high for the interior. Shooting at 380 right now. I would like to lower it to 350. Any ideas or pieces that would help me ?? Thank you |

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

if you just want a super quick and dirty detune, mix up a little bit of epoxy, put it around the edge at the tip of a narrow cylindrical tool like an awl or screwdriver, and wipe a very thin layer of epoxy around the inside of the tip of the nozzle, this will reduce its diameter and the flow of gas, I've done this both when too lazy to make the adjustment properly or in a bolt carrier that was damaged in a way the nozzle couldnt be easily removed

Not sure how the nozzle is made on a KWA M4, but in most WE guns, you can put an AEG gear shim in front of the floating valve spring. It doesn't involve any permanent alteration and takes a second. Took my WE AKs from 430-450 fps down to a nice 350 fps on 0.20g BBs.
