Well everything seems answered..
You can find most regulators at paintball stores.. Badlands, PaintballGear, etc. I would only recommend to stick with Palmers + Redline fire base though. No experiences with other ones.. |

I run a simple compressor to test all my Marui, WE, WA gbbrs, saves a lot of gas (and smell), and much more efficient. Great for testing and plinking, shots and recoil also more consistent: WE M4 Real Steel Build Fire Testing (AIRSOFT) - YouTube Hera Arms Glock Kit with Marui G18C in Action (AIRSOFT) - YouTube |

These folks have essentially all you need, possible even the mag. They're great, ship quick and top notch in my books.
Converted mags - http://natechdev.com/?product_cat=hp...rted-magazines Fill nipple bit, this is the part you will need to drill and tap into your mag: http://natechdev.com/?product=quick-...ct-male-nipple And the regulator: http://natechdev.com/?product=firebase-air-regulator All you need is an HPA tank, for that I suggest going to your local paintball shop.

Those redline fire bases are standard pricing btw if you decide to order them, @OP. I would suggest a nice Carbon Fiber Ninja HPA tank. Very light weight, and holds quite a lot of air. |

Tapping the magazine isn't necessary. HPA rigs are popular for steel plate shooting in Japan, as magazine changes aren't a requirement. They'll typically run their magazines at full capacity (31+1 rounds) and reload in between rounds.
As far as accuracy goes, HPA setups are the most consistent way to get gas pressure output. Japanese competitive shooting organizations have completely different outlooks on their sport than anywhere else in the world, and as such, I wouldn't consider such a setup in any other country. |
