I used a chisel tip soldering iron. Butane powered so I could adjust the temperature. I had it turned all the way down, to keep a nice even burn. Didn't actually take as long as I figured it would.

Necro:
Has anyone tried stippling their PMags (Both Green Label and PTS)? Also, after using Google, i've seen mixed results when it comes to stippling a mag or using grip tape. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't stipple a magazine. Anything that cause drag when pulling it out of a pouch is not my cup of tea.
Ranger plates are what you need.

Has anyone here tried doing waffle patterned stippling? Sort of what you'd see on Glockworx or SAI glocks? I think there was a glock frame by Qlong** done similarly recently. I hear ppl r using wood burning kits, filing on crisscross pattern bits or big brass screws. Last edited by -=ArchAngel=-; October 10th, 2013 at 23:07.. |
