If the user wants the highest power possible I would suggest going to a US forum or Filipino forum. Highest FPS AEG I have built is ~650 FPS with a 0.2 using airsoft surgeon stage 6 spring (~4j energy which is very close to 9mm simunition). Unfortunately, I couldn't get a stage 7 spring. Building guns with those springs is a process. Takes tools and time to get the spring to get into the gearbox. And you will be replacing parts each time you use. Certainly not for the typical game in Canada.

BTW, Does anyone know what kind of pistol grips fit the Type 56? Or what modding is required to fit a real steel grip?

I saw an awesome looking Type 56-1 with Polytech AK furniture on the Red Alliance forums. I'd ask the modder or check his posts, but I don't have an account on RA. (pending registration)

Plan to put an sp130 and spring guide with bearing on my type 56-1 for plinking.

All else being stock internals, would it able to handle the sp130?
