Najohn - I am curious, where did you order your CASV from (I would need one in tan), and I'm curious if all brands are compatible with my G&G SCAR-L (probably a dumb question)? Looking to make a few external changes along with adding a longer and tighter bore inner barrel.

I see two of you managed to get Magpul pistol grips on VFC SCARS, did you guys have to mod them or do they make VFC compatible ones?

Had to mod mine. A Dremel tool and a file was all I used and it wasn't that hard.

Did you just take off material from the top and front or did you move the plate inside?

yes. I enlarged the hole in the grip where the pinion gear to go back into the gearbox to the motor pressed more deeply for about 6mm. it also takes you longer screws to hold the grip as the original ones are not long enough and a longer screw to adjust the depth of the motor.

Thanks, I didn't think of simply enlarging the hole slightly. I had much more complex methods in mind, but yours was much better. I replaced the motor spring with an O-ring, and used longer screws, now it's working well!
