I think the first question is which rifle do you want to use? Bolt action? Or something semi like an M14 or SVD?

Are you sure you want a sniper with gas?
The noise and smell might give his position away
(couldn't resist a fart joke)

I suggest perhaps posing that question in the age restricted section. No one will post where to buy one in this thread.

Ares AW .338 CNC gas version.

Very realistic, Lapua 96 model, comes in desert/tan.

If your looking into a solid project this is a good place to start.

You can get CO2 magazines which are very stable, an O-ring upgrade kit, steel hammer, etc.

It also uses AEG style barrels and hop-up buxkings and rubbers. You can get a very nice Prometheus 6.03 stainless steel, fluted inner barrel, etc.

if you want a nice light and short gun that shoots far... KJW KC02
all be it there are a few essential upgrades needed..

1. buy gun (about 250 from the USA) - Legit to bring in as it shoots over 366 (400+ to be exact)
2. buy RA Tech hop up rubber.
3. Buy RA Tech 380mm 6.01 inner barrel
4. buy .36 bb's or heavier

you will now have a platform that will get you about 250+ feet of reach out and touch someone (250 feet with accuracy easy)

+1 on the KC-02

those things r beasts, ive had mine for a few weeks and have gamed it quite a bit and i have to say the simplicity of it is extraordinary and the power per dollar is unparalleled.

when i start playing outdoors i would definitely look at a tightbore and/or the hopup.

Sweetest part about this gun is the ability to change its role quickly.

Slap on a stubby grip and run 30 round mags and you have yourself a real good assault kit.

Get a nice scope with a hopup and a Tight Bore and you have yourself a DMR.

Full auto kit with duct taped 30 round mags and you have yourself a support weapon

You are aware that you are asking this in a non-AV section, right?

just look around at all the popular US airsoft sites. they all have em and they are all about the same price...

also caution get the Version 1.... the version 2 comes with the long mag BUT version 2 also comes with an outer barrel that is NOT threaded at the end so no add-on's (if you know what i mean)

Buy Version 1 with the stubby Mag.

then buy either Green Gas long mags or CO2 long mags they have both available...

Remember to make the KC02 a contender you need to at a minimum
a. replace the Hop up rubber (RA Tech or Falcon work great)
b. replace the Inner Barrel (either the RA Tech 380mm 6.01, RA Tech 510mm 6.01***, or Falcon 510mm 6.01

*** if you go 510mm you will need either the Falcon barrel extenson (about $50 if you order direct from Falcon) or $79 from everyone else (if in stock) or something on the end of your barrel to house the inner...
