Left Handed 1911 Holster?

Looking for two holsters, actually, but having a more difficult time finding the left-hand holster.

Looking for a soft-type holster in OD. Needs to be able to hold a 7 inch 1911. I've seen a lot of soft holsters, but nothing that says that it can also serve as a left-hand holster. Would prefer if both holsters were by the same company as well as the same type, just different hand orientation (Running dual 1911's).

Push comes to shove, I'd go for a hard-type holster as well, but again to be OD and preferably have a right-hand orientation model as well. Only reason I don't like hard-type holsters is because of the scratching and wear marks they tend to cause, and I like to baby my 1911s.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
what your looking for is the Bianchi M12 holster. It's used by the US army for the Beretta but will fit the 1911 and most automatic pistols. What's great about this holster is that it's modular. You can change it to fit on your right or your left. You can find it on ebay and in a lot of army surplus for about 15-20$ each.

You can remove the flap or keep it or even replace it. Once in game I usually remove the flap for a quick draw and never lost my P226 or my MEU. here's a few pictures:

The Bianchi M12 would be a solution, but it seems it can only house a standard length 1911. From what I can tell just from going through a bunch of photos for eye'd up detail, it cannot hold a 7 inch 1911.

Need some kind of holster with an open bottom portion that comes in left-hand orientation model as well.

A condor modular holster and dropleg could work, I'd bring the gun cased to the store to be sure though.

Not so sure there is a store that sells that type of thing in Windsor. If there is, I'm not aware :/

7 INCH 1911s?!? Why?

Ever thought of half-pancake style holsters (real steel)? (like the attached image)

Pantac makes some good L handed ones. Or atleast ambidextrous. Doing the same thing for a indoor setup. Only problem is they are all out of stock every were I look.

Doing the idea as you just cant find the left handed ones.

I'm running G-Code kydex holsters for my airsoft and real steel. They're $$$ but they have good retention and you can draw quickly. They won't scratch either since they're moulded for the specific gun. They're modular so I have a drop-leg as well as the paddle holster for belt carry.

Yeah all the molded holsters I have all rub the hell out of the front half of the guns. Safari lands, serpa, BT, customs and the g-codes.

I've never had a problem with my G-Code. It comes really tight but you can loosen it up a bit by adjusting the screws.
