Now, having looked into both sides of this.

At no point was the stock ever presented as a genuine Magpul stock: I re-checked the sales thread and it was labelled as a clone from day 1;

Reviewing the video (Infernau's) there is indeed signs of normal wear from mounting, but I saw nothing (nor did you point out anything) to support the claim of "damage";

Relating to the above, Alex Umil's claim it was "new" (even if it was in good condition) was misleading;

An attempt to mediate the situation was attempted, to which Infernau replied something along the lines of "forget it the guy's a douche" (as I was simultaneously in contact with Alex, I know there was a possibility of compensation);

How this is now being presented as being genuine Magpul vs Element repro strikes me as a complete scam: Infernau, whatever your next post is, I would seriously think twice about what it's content will be.


Either way, Alex Umil had been previously warned and has had his AV status revoked due to an unrelated dispute.

He recently purchased a radio off me(Week and 1/2 ago) and had nothing but good communication with me. Very smooth transaction.

Also we've been in airsoft for some time now and you should consider any "magpul" that come on the classified as a clone. Use the price to figure out if it real or not.

that may be so, but he just posted this as a warning a PSA if you will about the member saying hey i got ripped off beware.
and as this thread progresses it seems that infernau hasnt been the only one burned by umil.

Now I personally would like to hear what Umil has to say for himself.

Do you see "craigslist" somewhere in ASC's URL?

I don't give a shit about Craiglist, CL isn't my fucking problem nor does my jurisdiction extend to other sites; I have enough shit to deal with here.

Nor is that the same stock advertised on ASC (or the one in Infernau's video) -- which is two tone.

NOR does that CL ad even say it's a genuine Magpul stock and anyone who's performed even the least bit of due diligence will identify it as an ACM clone (the PTS versions come as either AEG or WA/PTW, not both).
