Hi all, I want to post and share an on going experience that I'm hoping will have a positive outcome. Enjoy, don't hate, just learn.

Having spent MANY countless hours online and on ASC looking for rare Western Arms 1911 parts to get my Para Ordnance breathing plasticky death once again I was elated to find this fellow.

ok here's what I have that i think will work.

Parts were ordered from "Lokisama" pictures of what he had for me were sent, I smiled favorably, asked for a price and sent FULL PAYMENT, like an honest and trustworthy Airsoft player and fan would do and then?

The seller has Vanished!

Repeated attempts at getting hold of him via PM's has failed!
Attempts at utilizing his know ASC friends has failed!
Bouncing what has happened off a few mates and finally a very prompt moderator has prompted me to post here and now.

I have had MANY good dealings with other hobbyists here and this is the first time I've been scammed! Because I'm am generally good natured I decided to let you the viewers in on this. I hope through this message my parts will one day arrive and I can say "thank you very much Lokisama"! Until then my upper lip is very stiff!

Unfortunately, there are many scammers out there. If I remember correctly, and if you used Paypal, you can claim to get your money back somehow.

And this is the part where I don't know what to say and becomes the awkward silence (>_<)

To the OP, the user has been offline since the 6th, but he's part of a shooting club in Toronto. Tap the shoulder of Illusion, Brian McIlmoyle, Shooting Chef or m102404 to see if the user turns up at a game.

Lokisama's AV has been suspended and notice sent.

When did all this happen, there's only one date in your post (Dec 31st 2011)?

Lokisama was last online on Jan 6th; possible he's on vacation or had something unexpected happen.

He's also a CAPS member: recommend his qualification be pulled if did indeed pull a fast one.

In the meantime, refrain from speculating/commenting unless you know have useful, factual information to contribute.

That's very odd...Lokisama seemed to be a decent stand up guy. He has not been active in CAPS of late, I'll make a note on my end though.

How was his trader rating I always look at that before I buy anything. Same with ebay. Sorry to hear you didn't get your stuff though that sucks.

Ya just file a claim and you can open a case against them and escalate it if there is no communication.

Odd, the character "lokisama" seems to have a perfect Trader Rating, as seen here

He was an active CAPS member for a while, but then disappeared quite a while ago and I haven't really seen him active in airsoft in over a year now. He even bought a pistol belt from me more than a year ago, and despite reminders to come pick it up or arrange for shipment, he's simply disappeared.

Lokisama, if you're reading this, pick up your belt in a month, or it's mine! No refunds. Consider it a storage fee. LOL

*UPDATE* Received a message from Lokisama today. He was indeed tied up with personal issues that needed his undivided attention. All issues and concerns solved, all is water uinder the bridge now.

I was just saying that in general. I've been buying/selling/trading R/C parts for years now and I have been scammed twice. However, one time turned out to be a situation like this where something family related came up and needed his full attention. The other time, the guy disappeared with my stuff. Fortunately, it wasn't worth too much.

I'm generally a pretty easy going guy and believe in fair and honest trades and dealings with fellow folks in the airsoft community. As much as I hate to turn up the heat, i'm afraid in this circumstance i'm going to have to.

I'm offering you "Lokisama" two final weeks to respond, reply, send or refund ALL monies I have EMT'd you for the Western Arms parts you have or had sent me photos of and agreed to send me.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and was ecstatic when you responded back to me and provided a reasonable reason for your initial delay in getting back to my countless messages.

I am offering you two weeks starting today February 10 2012 to respond, send my order or refund my money. if after this more than generous window i have not heard from you I will be contacting the RCMP in your area and reporting you for commiting mail fraud. Please be aware that I will pursue this.

I would much prefer you to MAN UP, pull your finger out and do the right thing.

I hope to hear from you

Contact other users whom he has bought items from in the past and see if they have his mailing address; should help you when you go to file a complaint with the RCMP.

Ok, to my absolute amazement my parts arrived today. Only 4-5 months late and after i've already sold the pistols the parts were for!

More frustrating than a one armed man, hanging off a cliff with an itchy ass!
