Real Sword 56 Magazine Compatibility

I got RS 56-2 and wondering if the VFC or G&P Plastic AK74 Mags are compatible. I've tried the TM and Cyma Metal ones before and they didnt work, thanks.

TM compatible mags will work in a type 56 you just need to file/sand the mag tab a bit.

+1 With that, I have two TM mags and all they needed was some very slight filing and they work perfect. I've been told that Classic Army mags work as well with the same modification.

BB's and hop-up issues can also lead to misfeeds. King Arms, MAG brand, LCT etc mags will all work just fine with a bit of filing. Not to mention Real Sword mags.

I have a bunch of King Arms plastic mid caps. I had to slightly file the tab as well to get them to properly engage the magazine release lever. Otherwise, no issues.

With my Type 56 I used G&P metal AK47 mags and had to lightly file the back tab so that they are secured. They feed perfect!
