Well the CA870's closest match is the Remington 870 breeching shotgun. It's more or less a cut down pistol gripped shotgun.
For gear depends on what you like. Your WW2 kit is nice, perhaps build yourself a modern outfit. The breeching shotgun may work well with a Swat kit which are pretty easy to build up. Black/Navy Bdus, Pasgt Helmet, and one of the many many vests that float around here. Or make something unique. I think a nice long black trenchcoat, an underslung holster for the shotgun and maybe also a shoulder holster for a sidearm, some sunglasses and you've got a pretty easily done assassin. Your choice :-)

You could go with a 'Nam setup.
But go with a .45 instead of the Glock.

Personally, I'd get wood stocks and go Platoon on their collective asses:
Meat will love ya for it.

go with an old jean jacket and some jeans with a black t-shirt and a mullet n you'd be pimpin the only 80's narc kit I'd know of
Oh and I'm not sure it a sawed off version would be precise nam kit but I find it looks good enough strapped to a back that I plan on getting one for mine. If I recall I believe I've seen pics of a sawed off in nam but I'm not positive. |

You know me too well Jamie
Go Nam, or go home. Really. The synthetic version no, they're right. It wasn't used in Nam. Although shotguns weren't officially allowed, they were a great weapon when filled with buckshot. A lot of shot guns were private purchase at the PX, or shipped from home. Virtually any shot gun made in 1965-70 could have made its way to nam.
