TMC Gear
I was thinking of getting a Pantac 6094, when I saw the TMC one for half the price. What is the quality of the TMC stuff? There aren't any in depth reviews that I can find on the vest. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks. |

TMC gears are ok, not the best like Pantac or Flyye among all replicas, but their quality are decent compare to the price.

TMC stuff is at least on par with flyye and pantac in my opinion. It all comes with a genuine cordura tag and is very high quality.

TMC stuff is great. I have one of their dump pouches and it's good quality. Just for fun I tried to rip the molle attachments off with all my might, didn't do anything to it.

Great price/value ratio, but as far as replica gear goes, Pantac and Flyye are still better.

The sewing isn't great on my vest. All the pouches were shit and the strapping to attach it to the molle is torn. Pockets don't fit right too. I had to replace all of them. Buy once cry once, go pantac

I carry TMC gear now, and have brought in many of their products. For a China made product it is about as good as you are going to get. Made in Canada would be nicer, but much more expensive. If the big names (Flye, Pantac, Condor, etc.) have moved their production to China (or have always been from China) then I would say that TMC would be of equal quality.

@ spike
TMC is nowhere close to Pantac/Flyye, I have a TMC spc and a Pantac RRV right here right now next to me, and I can tell you the big difference, the stitches on TMC are much less quality than those on Pantac, the cordura on Pantac is a lot more softer and more comfortable when you wear it. there are 2 kinds of cordura on the market right now, 1st kind is the genuine cordura made in USA which were used by both Pantac and Flyye; 2nd kind is the 1000D Nylon made in China, which are less quality and less on pricing; for both fabric they all have cordura tags on them but they are not the same thing. @ venture for both Flyye and Pantac, their product line are all in China, I know the boss of Pantac and he started this business many years ago. he also has another brand call Combat2000, which is the same thing of Pantac but only for sale in China. the production location doesn't really reflect on the price of the product, what really matters is the producing technique and material.
