I need to know what is going on
So I am not very gun savvy by any means but my gun used too shoot full and semi auto without a problem it is a jg body hk416. I just and I do literally mean Friday night I got a new modify gearbox modify gears and bushings a new TBB new tappet plate and now it grinds and will not shoot full auto at all, it has serious feeding issues with every one of my mags and jams on almost every other shot I am also running an 11.1 20c lipo if anyone could tell me what they think is wrong I would be really grateful, and also the hop up is maxed down and still shooting up with. 25s

You have several issues. They can all be solved by contacting a local gun tech and bringing your HK416 to them. The first thing wrong is that you tried to do the work yourself without researching the necessary steps to fitting things together.
In general, your issues range (from what your post sounds like) poorly shimmed (or not at all) gearbox, poor airseal of barrel to hopup, (you did replace the hopup rubber and nub right? right???),poor motor alignment, possible detached or broken selector plate spring or the plate itself, incompatible hopup or improperly assembled/installed, poor gearbox to receiver fitment. Solution= take it to someone who knows what they're doing and humbly beg them to reassemble it for you. |

i am going to take it back tomorrow, i was just curious as if there is anything else i need to put in there like a sorbo pad or something to make it run smoother and mainly wanted to know what might be wrong so if i get it back and the same thing is happening i will know what it is

Modify gearbox in JG or any china gun = problems. Try to match brand when upgrading. The inside of your metal body(or plastic) may require some grinding.

so essentially the body needs to be replaced?

I don't think the body is the issue. It sounds more like parts were just thrown together without making sure they would work. Take it back and tell him to make sure all of the parts are fitted to the gun, and making sure that everything works before returning it. Some "gundocs" doesn't know anything more than slapping parts together and calling it upgraded. Fitting parts together is the most important step.

EDIT: got the gun back after replacing sector gear, the bucking was off and the hopup spring had fallen off, works flawlessly now, SO HAPPY.
