M4 rail system questions
I own a G&G M4 carbine (https://www.buyairsoft.ca/rifles/ele...4-carbine.html) and I want to know what type of rail system I can but for it? I have no idea where to start when it comes to buying an RIS.
Can anyone help me out and maybe send me a link to a nice, preferably, not expensive one? Thanks!! |

Since it's an M4 just find something you like, then see if it is compatible. Start by maybe clicking on one of the retailer links at the top of the page.

NC-Star
Daniel defense UTG Magpul PTS MOE Nitro ...ect I suggest www.doubletaptactical.ca www.redwolfairsoft.com There's actually alot if choices and styles. If your looking to save money there are even decent replicas out there. I'm not sure if you'd need to modify that gun to fit real steel. If your personalizing your gun, check out some different styles online. It's actually not to hard to find retailers for them. ......usually.

Also, how does the RIS work with the gas block? Would I need to get something else for that?

Krandon, also worth noting is that all RIS hand rails have a tendency to "wobble".
If that is something you won't put up with, try looking for "free float systems", which mostly work in conjunction with gas block and gas tubes to prevent it from "rotating". On the other hand, if you are realy interested on RIS units, you can eliminate the wobble by installing one of these: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=205 This is essentially a "bridge" between your RIS and your flat top rail. This will also solve the "rotating" motion you will encounter on a "free-float" system. Just giving you information before you committ because I ended up with the same problem when I upgraded my M4 a few years back. Last edited by 5.56; October 3rd, 2011 at 11:48.. |
