All of your airsoft comms in one!
I was buying some radios from 409shop and saw that they now offer the Puxing PX-D03 cell phone, UHF/VHF radio, and MP3 player in one. Wow, now I don't have to carry four things during a skirmish!

Put a reveiw when you get it. I don't want a new radio but my cell phone is on it's last legs.

Interesting, but now you will have a power management issue to juggle. Personally, I rather have 3 devices with independent power sources than 1 all-in-one.

I personally would fear this thing to be a gimmick more than anything no?
Lots'o chinese cell phones you can find online are crap Same goes for mp3 players... And I'm not sure if I'd want/need an mp3 player and cellphone on the field, really :P |

All I fear is having to use a serial cable to punch in all the phone numbers, just like when you set up frequencies.

All I need in an airsoft radio is the dual channel feature (which it doesn't seem to have)for when I'm the CO or in charge of comms.
For all those other gadget, I have my blackberry. I don't really care for the mp3 player in a comm radio since I like to keep my ears opened on the field. |

I have a gang of Puxing UHF radios that I bought back in 2008 that are still going strong. Battery life is excellent, reception works well. Only problem I've had is accessory connectivity issues on one of them, it's a little loose and I had to tape it to keep it the headset seated properly. Otherwise, great little radios and the price really can't be beat.
I'd venture it's worth checking out.
