Pantera w93 Polish camo or Multicam?
I am trying to decide between the two patterns. I am not going for any particular kit set up. What I would be looking for is good concealment in our area. Need help deciding on the two. Maybe someone had the chance to wear both and can share on there experience?

Helikon makes almost everything in Polish Woodland (and Desert). Even softshells, combat shirts, ECWCS, etc. They make good quality gear (and they are the supplier for the Polish Military.)
www.helikon-tex.com You can get a lot of the items from Hwesta, a retailer in Poland: www.hwesta.eu |

Do not order from helikon-tex.de--it is a different site than helikon-tex.com. It is a different company and they will just take your money and never fulfill your order, as I found out the hard way.
I have not used Miwo before, so I do not know what they are like. The Helikon gear is good quality - surprised me for the price, even with shipping from Europe. If enough people wanted to buy from them, I can order direct from the factory, but they have a $500 USD minimum order requirement. I like the Special Forces Uniform (SFU) because it is like the old-school BDU with the "raided" features like slant pockets. Their softshells are really nice and come in a number of patterns, including Vegetato and Multicam (camogrom.) |

Helikon is good stuff, but I don't believe it is issue. But from what I recall of someone else mentioning Helikon gear is, Polish Forces guys are buying/using Helicon items also.
I have one set of SFU BDUs made by Helikon. I really like it... it's durable and comfortable. It is good quality gear. Now, I also have a MIWO desert Pantera BDU shirt. And MIWO is the real issue stuff. I also have two plate carriers.(summer Pantera and desert Pantera) and I believe they are made by KAMA. Real stuff, not replica.

I first found out about Helikon from a couple of Polish infantry officers while they were here (in the US) for a conference. They had Helikon combat shirts issued to them.
Note that for MOLLE gear that Helikon sells is the same (if not re-branded) as Condor MOLLE gear and as far as I know it is not issue gear. |
