Antenna- UHF After market options?

I picked up a 5w UHF radio, and am liking it(Wouxun KG-UVD1P). After Rhino, I found It hard to hear some people's lower powered radios. Particularly in stairwells barricaded in cement, I couldn't hear anything. Surprise right?

ATM my radio sits on myleft peck, and the antenna goes right into the padding on my shoulder strap (ciras). I'd Like a remote antenna, that I can loop through the molle on my back. Power gains are not too important, I'd rather reception gains.

If anyone has some recomendations, I'd Love to hear them.

Antenna is SMA female.
I'm also looking for a radio pouch that will fit it tight [4"high,2-1/4"Wide,1-1/4"Deep]

Antena size depend on frequency. Changing it's size will alter your ability to transmit or receive.

I'm no expert, but you should research it.

Yes that would be correct. I'm looking for a GMRS/FRS banded antenna.
Research what people have bought and how they feel about it?

RH-771 two way radio Antenna is what me and my buddies ran at OP Rino. on our 4watt UHF Puxing 888. We had no problems with transmission and reception. At close range I found that antennas boosted cheaper radios/ no headsets to a point of hurting my ears.

The Wouxun is a fantastic radio, excellent purchase.

For the remote antenna I use a TCI MAST, it is more expensive than cheap options you can find, but buy cheap buy twice (as literally I did this, I needed a solution for the next day, the cheap solution died in an hour)

Because you have the UVD1P and it's dual band feature, you want an antenna that can utilize that capacity. I use the Diamond SRHF-40 because of it. It's flexible (i.e. weave in MOLLE), gain (+3 db Gain), and very broad band. The impedance matches to the UVD1P's requirements.
