Hey, if I can stick a 1911A1 in a Coyote Brown SERPA leg-drop, why shouldn't you stick a Hi-Capa in a leather 1916 holster?
![]() I like the look anyway.

Boyso, soaking the holster in water and wrapping the holster in plastic (saran wrap / glad large sandwich bag) before insertion works too. The leather holster should take the shape of the pistol in 24 to 48 hours.

But once the holster is all dried out, then give it a heapin' helpin' of oil and Dubbin, just to make it beautiful and water-resistant.

Real? Yes, they actually exist...
![]() ![]() Yeah, yeah, yellow gloves. They're plain old Watson deerskin gloves from Mark's. I'm slowly getting them sun-bleached. They're not nearly as bad as they started out, though.

I got the chance to fire an M1 this summer when I was in Calgary for my sister's wedding. It was awesome. I don't think I would be able to hit the broad side of a barn at 50yrds without some practice though, as it had a hell of a kick and those iron sights were tiny! |
