OP, can't answer your question directly but can give you the info you need so you can answer it for yourself! There are two types of buffers, commercial and milspec. Check this posting:

In that post there's a picture that explains it easily and shows the key differences and measurements for you to verify which type you need.

If you want Magpul stuff I'd suggest ordering some from Fabsports.ca in Quebec, just ordered some stuff from them (including an MOE stock) and have done so as well in the past without issue. They don't seem to mark up their prices that badly compared to some other Canadian shops I've seen.

Yes, thanks for all your help.. I have 2 RS Magpul CTR stocks now got them for cheap too as Canadian prices are waay overpriced. The FDE is commercial size while black is mil-spec size.
