AR15/AR25 front assembly compatability.
Alright so I'm pretty new to airsoft and I'm wondering if the front assemblies or parts of the front assemblies are similar or the same for AR-15 style rifles and AR-25 style rifles.
I have noticed looking through a number of sights a HUGE variety of every kind of upgrade for AR-15 types which is great but I already have like 7 different AR-15 projects to work on and while the AR-15 setup is very versatile I don't wanna feel penned in. I have been looking at longer pseudo-sniper and sniper front end setups made for AR-15 style rifles but I wanna eventually go with an AR25 style for a nice powerful sniper. Does anyone have a good idea on this possible cross-compatibility or perhaps well done pictures comparing parts? Anyone an expert on changing AR-15 style front ends? Got any thoughts or plans for an interesting front end? |

They'll all be compatible. The SR25 bodies are made with the same barrel nut threading as the regular M16 bodies are (in airsoft that is). I exchanged the front end from my G&G GR25 to my Marui M16 body, and to a Madbull body. Its all compatible.
