Securely Attaching Tail Switches
I'm looking for different ways to securely attach two tail switches to my VFC Scar. I want to attach them to the body of the gun without taking off any paint if removed. I don't like attaching switches onto vertical grips because I don't hold onto it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

The best way I've seen is to take a rail cover and modify it to hold the switch. On the SCAR you've got four rails that you can clip the cover with the switch onto.

I'm assuming you're talking about tape switches? I.e. a cord coming from a flashlight that allows you to have your hand somewhere else and still activate the switch?
I don't think you're going to have to worry about pulling off paint from a VFC, but I haven't personally tried this. Ergo Grips Switch Mount would allow you to mount the switch to rails Oborous |

The only problem about the rail cover ideas is that I have a flashlight mounted on the side where my thumb can push it and my index finger can not access if it is on the opposite rail.

Have you considered velcro?

I have, but I'm just concerned that if I decide to remove the velcro later the paint might come off

Is it a rifle or a Ferrari? Velcro wont take the paint off, I assure you; if your worried about it use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive before removal.

The VFC upper is anodized so no paint there.
