Self adhesive velcro

Can somebody tell where to find good grade adhesive Velcro bands (male/female). Planning a restyling of my MICH helmet.

Thanks!

Hmm. I've bought mine from a fabric store. They have khaki and black.
If not, try The Home Depot. 3M is best.

I'm looking for 2'' wide Velcro bands that I could stick on my helmet. Also the velcro must hold very well when fasten with the fuzzy/hook part.

As I understand it, you'll need to sand a bit on the area where you'll put the velcro on the helmet, to both get rid of the "graininess" of the helmet surface, and provide a rough surface for the glue to bond to; the glue being either hot glue (from a glue gun) or super glue of some sort. The stickiness of the velcro's adhesive will not last on its own, especially if you remove the patches often.

Gentlemen

A trick we often use is commercial grade (not consumer grade) carpet tape.

Kind Regards
